CATALOGcreator GmbH is DS SolidWorks Solution Partner

Yet another milestone in the success story of CATALOGcreator® is the Solution Partnership with DS SolidWorks Corp.. By integrating the 3D-Technology 3DVIA  into CATALOGcreator® electronic spare parts catalogs can be generated from the CAD-Systems SolidWorks, CATIA and Pro-E. This process compresses the 3D-Models considerably, prevents abuse and allows users to identify and order spare parts quickly and easily.

3dvia13DVIA Composer

The effective authoring software for technical documentation quick and easy automation: 3DVIA Composer is the user-friendly authoring software for producing any type of product information. Associated 2D- and 3D-images as well as animations are generated straight from CAD-data without using the CAD-Software. Instant inclusion of constructional changes ensure that the data are always up-to-date which optimizes documentation quality and consistency – and reduces costs. The new program version V6R2010 of 3DVIA Composer has been available since 17.07.2009 – with increased functionality, higher performance and ease of use.   3DVIA Composer is the core product of 3DVIA-Composer-Solution which also includes the following components:

  • 3DVIA Sync
  • 3DVIA Check
  • 3DVIA Composer Player
  • 3DVIA Composer Player Pro

By integrating the 3DVIA Players in CATALOGcreator®, the technology is now also used for 3D-spare parts catalogs. Consequently, identification and ordering of parts has become a doddle. Of course you can protect the 3D-models against abuse and continued use in other systems.
