In 2018, TID Informatik GmbH will continue to focus on growth. Since 2012, TID’s workforce has more than doubled. In 2018 alone, more than 10 newly created positions have already been filled. The selection process is already underway for further job openings.
Robert Schäfer, Managing Director of TID, explains the reasons for this: “Our software solution is technologically very advanced. We also have extensive project experience with electronic spare parts catalogues and service information systems. This competence has been reflected in the high demand for our product. To handle increasingly complex projects to the full satisfaction of our customers, we need well-trained employees in all areas. For this reason, the personnel selection process and the training of new colleagues have been optimised in order to meet the strong market demand also in the long term”.
In recent years, TID’s human resources strategy has been oriented towards broad growth. As early as 2016, a separate support department was set up, which now comprises three colleagues. Since January 2018, Rolf Wensing, among others, has been added to the sales team as sales director. But project management and development have also continued to grow personnel-wise. Since 2017, TID has additionally hired five new trainees. This measure is intended to promote the company’s own “young talent” in a targeted manner.
Team Event 2018 ensures integration of new team members across locations
In order to gather the constantly growing team across locations, a team event in Allgäu took place in autumn. This gave the new and old staff members the opportunity to get to know each other better, exchange ideas and grow together as a team. Among other things, we have developed new goals in a strategy workshop. On the second day a varied outdoor program was also on the agenda. Together we were in the climbing garden and had a lot of fun solving different team tasks. Last but not least, the downhill with the summer toboggan run at the Bärenfalle in Immenstadt provided a lot of fresh wind for the TID team.
Robert Schäfer concludes: “I am very proud of the evolution of TID. It’s fantastic to see how the team has grown over the last few years. We could win new team members who fit very well to the spirit of TID. It was very impressive for me on team day and I got goose bumps when all my colleagues from the different TID locations met in one place. In short: Great team – terrific atmosphere. You can simply feel the high motivation and the great joy of the whole team to create something together. I am confident that we are very well positioned to meet the challenges ahead.”
