Graphic services for BMW – Presentation of airbrush images for all models

Development of the first CAD “PC-DRAFT Pespektive-based” illustration system – already with automatic projection from 3 2D-views and free perspective selection (of all possible parallel and vanishing point perspectives).

1988

Market launch of the "PC-Draft Perspektive" software for creation of technical illustrations.

1990

Development of the “TI” (Technical Illustration) module for the German CAD-system CADdy of Messrs. Ziegler Informatics.

1992

Foundation of TID Informatik GmbH as a development centre for technical illustration software.

1995

Development of “ACAD Illustrator” as an additional module for perspective drawings in AutoCAD.

1995

Opening of the TID Informatik office at Porsche in Zuffenhausen.

Development of "Technical Illustrator” for technical illustrations as a stand-alone version with AutoCAD Kernel.

Integration of software for electronic parts catalogs in ACAD Illustrator for publication of catalogs on CD-Rom and online.

Translation of ACAD Illustrator into Japanese and usage in Japan

Sale of  5,000th version of Illustrator

Mover to new offices in Herrsching/OT Breitbrunn along Ammersee

Distribution take-over of CATALOGcreator®" software from web2CAD AG for Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Benelux.

Distribution partnership with KUMAtronik Software GmbH in Markdorf for the "up2date" Webshop

Foundation of CATALOGcreator GmbH in Amberg and take-over of "CATALOGcreator®" Software.

Distribution partner of Lattice Technology for the XVL- product family

2005

Finalisation of framework contract with MAN Nutzfahrzeuge in respect of XVL-Technology. After Toyota, MAN Nutzfahrzeuge presently uses most XVL licences worldwide!

2007

Technology  partnership with SAP Deutschland AG and development of a combined product „SAP E-Commerce Service Parts Pack“ for electronic parts catalogs in the SAP Webshop

2009

Technology partnership with Dassault Systems and SolidWorks with 3DVIA

2010

 ABUS-crane systems becomes the 250th customer to rely on the leading „CATALOGcreator®“ software for electronic parts catalogs

At the same time, 2010 has become the most successful year in the company’s history!
