3DVIA – fast and easy access to your product information

The highly compressed 3D format of Messrs. Dassault Systems is particularly suitable for technical documentation.  3DVIA, in particular, is interesting for users of CAD-Systems CATIA, SolidWorks and Pro-E.

Due to its excellent compression of 3D data, even the performance of large CAD building blocks can be shown. Sophisticated views and animations can be created using the 3DVIA Composer.  In doing so, 3DVIA provides a link between functionality and an optically challenging display.  Shadows, reflections and shiny surfaces are standard with 3DVIA.

On the other hand, operating the 3DVIA Composer is easy to learn and can be compared to an Office program for 3D models.  The 3DVIA Composer does not have any problems either with deriving 2D illustrations from 3D views.
